Plane script roblox

So I decided to gradually tween the speed down.Touched:Connect touchedSeat. Also, please list the type of seat that I would be best to use.Well, to make it simple you can just use the old roblox concept of a plane like the Base Wars Vortex. The problem is, that the plane instantly stops when it hits the landing node.It is intended for learning only, and not suitable for play I am a beginner, I am not a professional and I am not good at making Plane script roblox I have another plane I am Plane script roblox for you to give me your opinion on it I will send a video clip of the other plane.Physics are something that I would consider later, after I could get a working plane.Something that I guess that would be included are BodyMovers, because a lot of designs that fly have those.Help and Feedback Scripting Support.Eventually your plane script will become as complicated as the free models if you desire full functionality. And IF it all maybe? Physics are something that I would consider later, after I could get a working plane.I am probably going to use these scripts in an airline group, so physics like wind would not be needed.

Again, thank you for your reply.I am aware of that.I will for sure include plane physics, I just might not include physics that are not really required, like wind direction and speed.

Drag and lift will for sure need to be included, but wind direction and speed will probably not be included as they will be static.

For right now, if I could get a part that has a seat on it to be able to fly, then I will be satisfied with that.Like you mentioned, this is a big question to answer. You might find a few neat methods to how their creators approached some possible aspects you listed. How would I script an airplane? You could use a simple Body velocity to make the plane move in the direction of this velocity and BodyGyro to orientate accordingly.

Or you could simulate IRL physics and apply lift accordingly Unity is more advanced in this department with tutorials well in general Unity will have more tutorials to achieve a game mechanic in general for most things on there worth checking out.The question is, is this a good-ish script?

And IF it all maybe? Just give me advice. This is unrealistic since in real life it takes planes a few seconds for them to come to a halt.So I decided to gradually tween the speed down.I came across a problem. When I tween the speed, instead of slowing down, the plane just stops, when it should be taking 5 seconds for it to slow down!

I feel as if there is a simple fix, but I just cannot find it! I noticed you have a print statement that prints the speed when it changes.Does that print go from or does it go straight to 0? I would bet that the self:TweenSpeed function never plays.Right below the following code could you add a print statement like print self.Node to see if the self.

Hello there. My question is how would I go about scripting an airplane? I know this is a pretty big question as this question can have. How can I make a working, basic plane with roblox’s default physics. Thanks, You can use a plane script by Gate Studios.I have mediocre scripting skills, however, I have no experience in scripting planes on Roblox. Some games use a system where you maneuver.

How to use:

  1. And IF it all maybe?
  2. This is unrealistic since in real life it takes planes a few seconds for them to come to a halt.
  3. PrimaryPart weld.
  4. It hits terrain and bends and does everything.
  5. CFrame:inverse weld.

  • If not, would I implement the physics by myself if heading straight up, then the plane is most likely going to stall, calculating angles and velocity?

My question is how would I go about scripting an airplane? Something that I guess that would be included are BodyMovers, because a lot of designs that fly have those. My first question is what would be the best way to make the airplane move. Most popular choice of what I have seen are BodyMovers.CFrames might be used too I hardly believe so because it is controlled by the player and it can vary due to speed and altitude and all that, but I might be wrong , and lastly, TweenService I do not believe TweenService would be a good idea.

I might not have mentioned a way that you could represent that, and if you know I way that I can create the movement by using another technique and it works better than those listed, then please tell me.Also, please list the type of seat that I would be best to use.My second question is physics. If the airplane is made using BodyMovers, does it have airplane physics by default? If not, would I implement the physics by myself if heading straight up, then the plane is most likely going to stall, calculating angles and velocity?

If I do have to implement the physics by myself, I would create another topic for that, so the only thing that I want to know is if there are physics by default or if I need to implement them.I know this topic turned out very long, and I apologize for that.If I posted this in the wrong category, please fell free to tell me.If this topic should be separated into different parts, please inform me about that too.If you do have an answer to any of my questions, feel free to reply to this topic.

Okay, so this title just gives it all away.Nodes:FindFirstChild ‘Node’.From what i can see, you are never putting a parent to the IntValue, it is stored in nil, i could be wrong but that is my theory.

  • All new flight simulators like Xplane11 have more than points at where the air and go over.

I have set up network ownership, so I hope to be able to do everything on the client. There are many different types of complexity in designing plane systems. This is good enough for almost everyone not making a full flight simulator. It essentially applies a VectorForce after calculating the necessary forces lift, drag, and thrust for the engines. It also requires a fair amount more setup for new planes.

Watch the above video for an example. Thanks for the explanation.I do know a lot about planes. And I know that Point-Mass really gives you a flying on rails experience.
